Can’t we make the cutoff 40 instead?

Even the grandfathered U30’s should be scrutinized – maybe answer some basic questions like “what is a beer kitty?”, and “what is your favorite Monty Python sketch?” before we let some of these murph specialists back through the door.

What’s the logic behind bumping it up to 30? Not a fan of the rule – I think 25 was fair. What problem are we attempting to fix? Most of you started in your 20s anyway. Every year there is a good 7 or 8 really solid teams of all different ages and skill levels. I think it’s part of what makes the league fun. If 95% of us continue to return each season and grow old with the league, than it only makes sense that we welcome in some younger guys each year . We are talking maybe 10 guys across the entire league. Blackwood and Aramini are in there 50s and will out work anyone on the ice..Wolfy and Geib still tear it up too. It cant be an age thing. If this rule applied to me today I wouldn’t be able to play for another 4 years. I’ve already spent 6 years in the league. Just thought I’d get some conversation going on this since I’ve heard pretty much all negative feedback so far…

First they came for the Under-30’s, and I did not speak out –
Because I was not under 30.

Then they came for those that Murphed, and I did not speak out –
Because I did not Murph.

Then they came for the Hecklers, and I said…FUCK YOU BRUCE! WAAAAAHH

The league is a complete disaster!! First an under 30 ban, next to go are the immigrants – sayonara Wanger and Gilzilla, so long Aramini and Aubrey EH!, GTFO Blackwood. The failing WSL needs new leadership and I would build a bigly wall (not named Flood)!!

This is becoming the softest league around. Next year, a ban on composite sticks.

Schedules are a huge help when you have no idea what team you are on
