Alers Vs. Warriors

12 May

The Alers vs. Warriors game ended in a forfeit due to the Warriors using an illegal player, not meeting the standards set in the replacement player guidelines as well as not gaining permission from the league for a call-up (which would have been denied).

Come on Anonymous, the Warriors had a decent squad on Saturday and did not need the addition of Heron, especially when the Alers had eight players.

However, I don’t think that a certain “banned” A player should have been playing on the Alers. I know the Alers were missing players but those players should have been replaced with a player of equal talent.

the lost innocence of the rams/pens 9 game summit!

Come on Jones, umm, I mean Anonymous II. The Alers had 8 skaters and a replacement goalie. When I made the request for an extra player (that’s one) there was a good chance Amos wasn’t going to be there. So yeah, I requested and cleared a guy we were familiar with and knew would show up big in the 4th. That sure seems to be in the spirit of spring league hockey.

So let’s get this straight, Heron managed to get thrown out of the first game and then played the second game causing that team to forfeit? What a day! Did he also sponsor a table at any charity dinners that night prematurly proclaiming the Chiefs “2008 WSL Champions?”

Why were the Warriors not made aware of The Alers intention to report the use of an illegal player before/during the game? Was the Alers intention to not report anything if they won, but to shadily tattle tale after they took the loss? Just curious. Also, I believe it is the Alers who like to sit up in the stands and yell stupid things and thik they are just oh so funny. Well, you are all cheesy. Very, very, cheesy

Just trying to keep it fair Arty. The Ducks have had many games where several A players were not there and we had 6 or 7 skaters. “Banned” A player did show up big in the fourth period, which is the most important period in the game.

Did both Amos and RR play for the Aler’s?

I smell asterisk on this years cup

Spring league is all about working up a thirst for the fourth. The Alers also only had 7 skaters including me, and I believe the only complaint about me was Amos’s undershirt I borrowed due to my added 20 lbs. and shoulder pad smell.

Was fun to hang out again, and as for Heron, he was non-factor anyway (until the Warriors were up by three, then he scored 2), shouldn’t have been a forfeit. We’re all adults.

Floppy Gizzards, who would the Alers have reported that to during the game? John Demieo? He ran the Zamboni in skates and a helmet, concerned, confused and wondering “who didn’t pay?” and if there were any meatball subs in the lounge.

Bring it back is a profit. We have eaten the apple and…..i don’t fucking know, ask that hippy TS to finish this one off. Time to find another rink….or a golf course that accepts empty beer cans as payment.

By the way…I meant ‘Bring it back is a PROPHET’ meaning he is a spiritualist and keen observer….not that he made us money or anything. I’ve been deceived by spell check….again

I am in for the golf course. Banned, are you in for the golf course?

Happy to oblige. It’s core [The Apple] has been knawed upon by the greed and lost hope of a Warrior-less team. Their moniker was inappropriately applied as an intended personification of their stamina and/or ability to play hockey. The end result – a bench of rocks.

The Alers, however, have led the fourth in every game this season. How befitting of a name for a bunch of “athletes” that like to play “hockey”.

See you in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th periods. Don’t forget to brush your teeth at least 1 hour prior to drinking… that mint and beer flavor is god awful.

    Go Beer.

You kinda lost me in the middle and end, a little bit in the beginning too.

By the way WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?!?!?! WOOD DUCKS OWN THE 4TH…..BITCH!

And if we fall out of contention, we will re-institute the zero period at Tooweys before the games!!

Go Golf!!! … and Beer!!! … and the 19th hole!!! … the one in Oreland!!! … and Zero Periods!!!

Ok lets get something straight. Beuhler has a point and i understand his reasoning. As for my play, i was a non-factor… 1pp assist out of 10 goals for and one goal against was entirely my fault. So in the Warriors defense, in hindsight they would have won without me. They asked, I played… I apologize to both teams involved.

Can we delete Heron’s post? This was more fun when it was a conspiracy.

Way to ruin the league Beuhler…
